Celeste White – Biography
Celeste White is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist whose deep roots in Northern California have shaped a lifetime of impact across business, community service, and the arts of wellness and hospitality. Celeste was born in San Francisco and grew up spending summers and weekends on her family ranch and vineyards near St. Helena. A longtime resident of Napa Valley, Celeste currently serves as the President and Chair of the Board of Directors for Lux Forum, a thought-leadership organization that Celeste developed and that is known for its dynamic events and speakers that encourage gratitude, reflection, and positive social change.
Celeste is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, her alma mater, where she earned degrees in French and Sociology. Her passion for innovation and purpose-driven business is reflected in her entrepreneurial ventures. She is the CEO and owner of Horse Rock Olive Oil, a boutique, estate-grown, small-batch olive oil brand founded on the family’s ranch near St. Helena. Horse Rock Olive Oil is both a celebration of Napa’s agricultural richness and a symbol of the White family’s resilience—having survived natural disasters and thrived through dedication and community support.
In addition, Celeste is the co-founder of Stitches Medical, Inc., a privately held company focused on adaptive clothing and healthcare solutions. She also co-founded WearTootles.com, a niche medical clothing company that assists individuals with intestinal challenges by offering discreet odor-control solutions through specialized clothing, reflecting her commitment to compassionate innovation in healthcare.
Her contributions extend deeply into civic life. Celeste has served on several nonprofit boards and led community initiatives with enduring impact. She was the U.S. Pony Club District Commissioner for 17 years, nurturing youth through horsemanship and leadership education, and served on the Napa Valley Education Foundation Board. Her philanthropic efforts span organizations such as The Salvation Army, Young Life, Hospice, Queen of the Valley Hospital, and Ag 4 Youth—demonstrating her steadfast commitment to wellness, education, and faith-based outreach.
Celeste’s personal life is as rich as her professional journey. She shares her life with her husband, Dr. Robert White, a trauma surgeon and educator. Together, they are the proud parents of four adult children. A lifelong equestrian and outdoors enthusiast, Celeste continues to ride the trails of her ranch, embodying a spirit of joy, strength, and grace in all she does.
